The opening ceremony of the Fifth Global Aviation Training Forum and Trainer Program witnessed today the signing of a partnership agreement between the Qatar Aeronautical Academy and the French Civil Aviation University (ENAC), to launch an advanced Master’s program in Aviation Safety Management where students will be able to join it at the Qatar Aeronautical Academy.
On this occasion, Mr. Olivier Chanso, Director General of the National Aviation School in France, said that the agreement signed yesterday between the French National Aviation School and the Qatar Aeronautical Academy enables the Aeronautical Academy to apply for the advanced Master’s program in Aviation Safety Management stating that the program is intended for people working in the aviation industry pointing out that the State of Qatar has an integrated aviation system that includes the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Qatar Airways, Hamad International Airport and Qatar Aeronautical Academy, adding that people working in this vital and strategic sector, who are interested with the advanced Master’s program in Aviation Safety Management, can apply and join it.
Olivier said, through the agreement, the National Aviation School will provide educational curricula as well as highly qualified teaching staff to present various program theoretical and practical activities. He added, “The Master Program in Aviation Safety Management is the first of its kind approved by ICAO and will also be taught for the first time in the world at the Qatar Aeronautical Academy as of February 2019.
